Linkbucks is new way of advertising. LinkBucks allows you to make cash from the links your users post, from the links you place on your website, or from the posts you make in a forum.
For example, you can encrypt your signature links or whatever links to linkbucks first, and then if anyone click on your link, it will then display an intermediate ads before bring your visitors to your site. You can make money when more people click on your link.

You're correct, this is actually no difference than some of the other full page ads. It could get annoying for the users.

I have tried Linkbucks - mind me that this method is highly irritating and you will lose visitors in long run.

Yes, in some way this is irritating, as members may not want to see a full ads pop up everytime to visit a simpl link. I heard there is a way to make it pop up less than 5 seconds and auto redirect to the site, which your visitors may not even notices.
