Hey everyone. For a while I have been a ChaCha "guide" and I have been making .10 per each question I answer. What is ChaCha?

ChaCha.com is a question answering service. Picture yourself "on the go" and you need to know directions, the weather, who won the baseball game, movie times, how much gas is, etc.

Text your question:
Example-
How tall is the empire state building? to 242242

Within minutes the answer is delivered to your handset. The kicker? You are allowed to only use this FREE service a few times within a set hourly period.

So that is just the background of the user part of this. My part is when the user asks the question I get sent the question to my PC using their website. I research the topic, I MUST cite a source (reliable) so that the answer is legit, and I sent it to them gaining 10 cents.

How do I get paid?
Easy. Get more than 100 dollars by the 15th of the month and it is automatically put into your bank account. Don't want to do that? Apply for a card that is loaded whenever you want the funds that are in your guide account.

How do I start?
Guides are not just made in seconds. It took me a few hours of watching videos and learning how to do this and then when I was done I took an intense test.

They are not accepting applications now however that changes very quickly as some guides do it only for a month and then leave or we need them etc.

I actually had 94.99 in my account from guiding. As I said, I decided that I no longer want to be a slave to ChaCha. To get that I had to send in a cancellation request form, wait for tomorrow which they will tell me that it will take me 3 weeks to cancel, then 30 days or so to send the money.
Eh I would rather wait that long then wait to do the questions. I have found that after logging on today it is slower than usual however in my e-mail they do send out a bunch of ATTENTION! High traffic! e-mails to alert us when we are really really needed.

There was a recent blog post that they had that said they were 50 percent up in traffic? I am not sure if I read that correctly. Things are being all switched around in the company, I just hope that I get paid out of this deal...eventually.

That is correct. You must be 18, provide social security number, etc. It is like filing in an application for a regular job. Then I believe you have to claim whatever you get to the IRS at the end of the year.
