If you're looking for *inux VPS hosting, consider Linode.com. They are simply amazing for my experience.
You select a "Linode" and pick the OS that you want to run, set the memory, and disk size and in about 10 mins, you just build yourself a new server. And you can add and modify resources at anytime. The control panel is very useful, you can view the CPU, Disk IO and Network chart. The overall experience that I had with them was amazing.
Based on my experience, I would highly recommend for you to consider them and use them.
