Background: I am buying a brand new flat - I will get possession in next 3-4 months, and I want to do a simple but attractive interior for my home. I am checking many sites with the tips and I would ask your opinions here on DP on many aspects of home decor. Your opinions would help me decide the best approach.

We have always used traditional sources of light for illumination - i.e. electric bulbs. Have you ever thought of using the most basic source of light man have invented: CANDLE? Believe me, candles are turning out to be a hot favourite. Still don't believe me? Check this site. The author has written so well about how one can use candles to enhance interior of our home.

Once you check out this article, I would like to know from DP'ers what they think about using Candles.

Interesting theory. But do you think that it is cost effective? It does seem like it would take a lot of time to replace candles, light them, extinguish them when you leave, etc. Perhaps oil lanterns? I am not sure that candles are the best way to light your home. Maybe once in a while but not for your lifetime at the place. It would be difficult and time consumeing in my opinion. I don't think I am ready to go back to the caveman era.
