hey, james here... i've been running a small blog now for a little over a year, and just recently after reading alot on some of these different forums ive started trying to monetize my blog with adsense and am looking to find different easy ways to send lots of new traffic. So far since i started ive just been dropping alot of links in comments i post on others blogs.. and doing social bookmarking which is where most of my traffic comes from using the automated software from http://www.bmdemon.pcti-system.com .. which im sure most of you are probably using also. But I was jus curious, as im still fairly new to this, what are some other easy effective ways i could drive alot of new traffic to my blog? And furthermore, for those other methods for traffic are you aware of any effective software like bm demon that will automate those methods for me that isnt going to cost me much?? As I work 40 hours a week and often find myself with very limited time to work on this project... Any advice / comments / suggestions would be very appreciated!! thanks

Hmm, I only use the "drop a comment" method always and it works great for me.
My only advice is you should update your blog always so people will keep on coming back.
Your entries should also be interesting, maybe a review about the new gadget you bought or the game you're currently addicted on to.

yea, definitely keep your blog updated and drop comments. Look for people who are interested in what you are interested in and ask them to look at your blog. Using forum signatures is good and also using vBulletins feed where it automatically posts your latest blog is a great way to get readers from forums of your interests.

Search engine traffic is most powerful to a blog because it brings visitors who want to know about the content you wrote in your blog. So, it is better to make your blog little SE friendly and do some SEO.

Entrecard is totally waste of time. Entrecard's traffic is not quality traffic as most people who come via entrecard are only for the purpose of gaining credits and don't even wait for seconds on a site before jumping on the others. ENtrecard cannot be judged as a quality source of traffic for any blog.

Ya it is definitely not a quality traffic. But there are bloggers who thought as you did (entrecard is a waste) and later they say that entrecard not as bad as they thought. I get very lowtraffic from entrecard. But traffic is required right!

Traffic is definitely required for our site/blogs, but a low quality traffic will not brings any benefits to your site, it even hurt you in SEO, and some search engine will not display our site with bad traffic.
